We’re hiring a Video Ad Script Writer to join the team behind some of the most viral car giveaway campaigns on the internet. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position based in Utah.

We’re looking for someone who understands performance-driven storytelling.

Someone who knows how to build an emotional hook in the first 3 seconds, structure a message that holds attention, and write words that move people to take action.

Role:

As a Video Ad Script Writer, you’ll be the messaging engine behind high-performing short-form ads across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

You’ll take direction, brand knowledge, customer insight, and creative strategy and turn them into scroll-stopping ad scripts that convert.

This is a high-impact role for someone who understands how to blend emotion, curiosity, and persuasion to drive action.

Who You Are:

You live and breathe performance ads
You know how to make someone stop scrolling, lean in, and listen. You understand messaging psychology — tension, stakes, identity, desire, and payoff.

You’ve done this before
You’ve written scripts that convert — not just scripts that “sound cool.” You have examples of ads that drove clicks, revenue, or conversions.

You think like a marketer
Every line has purpose. You understand awareness stages, objections, and how to shift belief in under 30 seconds.

You write with intent
You know how to structure a hook → conflict → proof → emotional payoff → CTA. You write lean, fast, punchy, and clear.

You understand data
You listen to what the numbers say — hook rate, watch time, CTR, conversion efficiency — and you adjust messaging accordingly.

You can juggle multiple campaigns
You’re used to generating multiple variations, message angles, and testing frameworks at speed.

You’re obsessed with clarity and craft
You catch tone inconsistencies, pacing issues, and emotional dead spots before they happen.

You communicate well
You can talk through your script structure, creative thinking, and why your messaging is shaped the way it is.

You’re adaptable
Trends shift. Platforms shift. Creative trends shift. You move with it.

You’ve got experience
2+ years writing short-form direct-response scripts for eCommerce or high-volume social content.

Bonus: You use AI tools
To brainstorm angles, word variations, and speed up ideation — without losing originality.

Write scroll-stopping ad scripts daily
You’ll produce multiple scripts and variations per day that are designed to convert, not just be watched.

Understand what sells
You know how to tap into identity, desire, aspiration, and transformation to create emotional pull.

Stay ahead of creative trends
You watch what’s working in the automotive, DTC, creator, and UGC spaces and bring fresh concepts to test.

Write with a performance-first lens
Your scripts are built for retention, clarity, and persuasion, not fluff or filler.

Test, analyze, optimize, repeat
You’ll review results alongside the media and creative teams and adjust messaging based on performance signals.

Collaborate with our video and media team
You’ll work closely with editors, creators, and buyers to align messaging with campaign direction.

Create story-driven ads
Turn testimonials, product benefits, or emotional transformations into compelling narratives.

Pitch new concepts
Bring new big ideas to the table weekly, not just execute assignments.

Own your numbers
Hook rate, watch-through rate, CTR, CPA, ROAS and you’re motivated to constantly improve them.

Stay organized and move fast
Multiple campaigns. Multiple variations. High speed. High clarity.

Position: Content Creator

About the role

A content creator is a key member of the marketing and creative team responsible for designing, producing, and editing video advertisements/content that effectively communicate our brand's message to its target audience. This role requires a blend of creative storytelling, technical skills and an understanding of marketing principles to create engaging and persuasive video content.

Requirements

- Full-time - in house (Not Remote)
- Comfortable being on camera
- Experience with videography and editing software
- Create and produce new video ideas from scratch
- Self-learner mentality

What you'll be doing

- Research new trends, topics and other videos
- Concept development, scriptwriting, editing and optimization
- Create and produce new videos ideas for social media
- Work with media team to improve and share skills
- Always learning new tactics
